In a surprising partnership that breaks usual expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Revealed

According to the official release, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.

The mission centers on "bizarre tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Changes

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside multiple objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
